About Best ABM Software

Who runs this site, how we're connected to one of the vendors we rank, and exactly how that relationship is handled so you can weigh our coverage with full context.

What this site is

Best ABM Software is a ranked buyer's guide covering nine account-based marketing platforms: 6sense, Demandbase, Metadata.io, RollWorks, ZoomInfo, Bombora, Influ2, Vector, and Primer. We publish a weighted ranking, individual vendor reviews, head-to-head comparison pages, and a long-form buyer's guide, all built to help a B2B marketing or RevOps team evaluate this category without sitting through nine separate sales demos before knowing what questions to ask.

The disclosure, stated plainly

This site is operated by a team affiliated with Metadata.io, one of the vendors covered in our comparisons. That's a direct conflict of interest, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Here's exactly how we handle it:

If you'd rather read a ranking with zero vendor affiliation anywhere in the picture, that's a completely reasonable preference — we'd point you toward reading multiple independent sources (including direct G2 category reviews) and forming your own view rather than trusting any single "best of" list, including this one, as the final word.

How we build the rankings

Every vendor on this site is scored against five weighted criteria, applied identically across all nine platforms:

Each criterion is scored 1-10 per vendor based on public documentation, product demos, and published review data, then combined into the weighted composite shown throughout the site. The full scoring table is on the homepage. We re-run this scoring quarterly, since pricing pages, feature sets, and review counts all change — a ranking that never updates isn't an honest one.

Sourcing standard

Every specific claim on this site — pricing model, implementation timeline, feature description, review score — is sourced from publicly available vendor documentation, G2 category data, or standard, well-documented enterprise SaaS sales patterns for platforms in a given pricing tier. Where we couldn't verify a specific number for a vendor (which is common in this category, since most pricing is quote-only), we say so explicitly rather than inventing a figure. Each review page ends with a sourcing note describing exactly what's verifiable versus what reflects general category patterns.

Corrections and contact

If you work at any of the vendors covered here — including Metadata.io's direct competitors — and believe something in a review, comparison, or the ranking table is inaccurate or outdated, we want to know. Corrections are handled the same way regardless of which vendor raises them, and substantiated corrections get made in the next quarterly review cycle at the latest.
